pretty average

The seeds arrived quickly, no complaints about that. The packaging? As discrete as a British ninja. But when I tried to germinate them, I had a 50/50 success rate. Some sprouted, others… didn’t.

I thought The British Seed Company would be the “royal” choice for cannabis seeds—well-known, trustworthy, all that jazz. The seeds arrived on time, everything looked good. But when it came to germination? Let’s just say it was a roll of the dice. Out of 8 seeds, 4 sprouted.

quick and easy but not amazing

The British Seed Company’s website is easy to use, and my order arrived pretty quickly. The seeds themselves were healthy looking, final outcome of plants was a bit of a disappointment though, genetics quite poor.

Not Bad, But Just Okay

I ordered a mix of strains from The British Seed Company, didn’t have much luck on growing them though as very poor germ rates. Plants that did come through were pretty chronic though

Okay, so I ordered from The British Seed Company because I heard they were good? I think? Anyway, the seeds came really quick, and I just planted them in some soil, like, on my balcony or whatever. A few weeks later, I realized I didn’t actually know what I was doing. Some of the seeds grew into plants, I think? But then others just… didn’t.

I kinda forgot to water them for a bit, but hey, they were still green-ish when I checked. I think they’re okay?

So, 10/10 would recommend for people who don’t really know what they’re doing! (Also, sorry if I’m not using this “review” thing right). 🌱

Review of TheBritishSeedCompany.co.uk – A Mixed Bag of Quality and Service

TheBritishSeedCompany.co.uk caught my attention with its UK-based reputation and the promise of high-quality cannabis seeds. With a wide variety of options and decent prices, it seemed like a solid choice for anyone looking to grow some premium buds. However, after placing an order and going through the entire process, I found that it wasn’t quite as royal as the name suggests. While there were some positives, there were enough issues to make me think twice about shopping there again. Let’s dive into what worked and what didn’t.

The Good – Great Selection and Fast Delivery

Let’s start with the positives. TheBritishSeedCompany.co.uk definitely delivers on selection. They have a good mix of feminized, regular, and autoflowering seeds, including some of the most popular strains like Amnesia Haze, OG Kush, and Northern Lights. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced grower, you’ll find something that suits your needs.

Ordering from the site is easy, and the checkout process was smooth. I placed my order, and it arrived in a timely manner, which was a relief. The packaging was discreet, so no issues there. If you’re looking for a straightforward seed-buying experience with no major hiccups, they get this part right.

The Not-So-Good – Germination Issues and Lackluster Customer Support

However, when it came to the actual growing process, things didn’t go quite as smoothly. Out of the 8 seeds I ordered, only 5 germinated. That’s not the worst I’ve experienced, but considering the price, I was hoping for a higher success rate. The plants that did sprout were decent, but the yield was underwhelming, especially when compared to other seed banks that I’ve used at a similar price point.

To add to the frustration, when I reached out to customer service about the low germination rate, it felt like I was getting the runaround. It took a few days to get a reply, and when I finally did, the response was generic and didn’t offer any real solutions, like replacements or a refund. It just didn’t feel very customer-focused, which left me feeling like I wasn’t a priority.

My Personal Experience – Good, But Not Great

I ordered a mix of feminized and autoflower seeds from TheBritishSeedCompany.co.uk, hoping to kick off a new growing season with some reliable genetics. The seeds arrived on time, and the website was easy to use. No complaints there.

When it came to germination, I followed all the steps carefully, but as I mentioned earlier, I only got 5 out of 8 seeds to sprout. The plants that grew were fine, but the final yield didn’t live up to my expectations. The buds were fine, but not as dense or potent as I’d hoped for. For the price, I expected a bit more, honestly.

The customer service was the biggest letdown for me. The slow response and lack of real solutions made the whole process feel a little less professional than I expected from a company with such a solid reputation.

The Verdict – A Solid Option, But Could Be Better

TheBritishSeedCompany.co.uk is a decent option for those looking for variety and a smooth shopping experience. Their selection is solid, and shipping was prompt, but the germination issues and lackluster customer service are hard to ignore.

If you’re looking for reliability and consistency, this might not be your best bet. The experience wasn’t terrible, but I’ve definitely had better results from other seed banks for the same price. If you’re in the UK and need seeds quickly, it’s worth a shot, but don’t go in expecting perfection.

At The Dank Review, we keep it real. The British Seed Company is fine, but there are better options out there if you’re looking for top-tier quality and customer support.
