Overhyped garbage

January 4, 2025

I gave an extra start for the quick delivery, but apart from that it is all downhill. I only got 3 plants out of 6 seeds which is either very unlucky or the seeds are just bad. Wish I went elsewhere tbh was an expensive loss.

decent overall

SensiSeeds was decent overall—quick shipping and a solid selection. Germination was below average though which is simply unacceptable seeing as I paid more for their brand name.

Decent

I think if the prices were lower I’d rate 5 stars, but the extra high prices aren’t write imo. Strains I grew were nice, but there is no need for them to be overcharging as they are.

No thanks

I thought SensiSeeds would be like hitting the jackpot. Big name, top-tier strains, all that good stuff. I ordered a few feminized seeds, excited for the green empire I was about to build.

Turns out, it was more like a gamble. I got 5 seeds to germinate—5 out of 10—so not a total bust, but definitely a few misfires. The plants were good, but the yield? Meh. It’s like getting a winning lottery ticket… but just enough to buy a sandwich.

SensiSeeds – The Rolls-Royce of Seed Banks… But With a Few Dents

January 4, 2025

I ordered from SensiSeeds thinking I was about to get the Mercedes-Benz of cannabis seeds. I mean, it’s Sensi Seeds, right? The legends. Well, the order showed up like clockwork, discreet packaging and all. So far, so fancy.

But when it came time to plant those high-end seeds… only about half sprouted. Now, I’m no rookie, so I did everything right, but they just didn’t deliver. The plants that grew were decent, but not “Rolls-Royce” quality, more like a Kia with a little rust.

Would I buy again? No, not with those high prices.

best seed bank

SensiSeeds.com is one of the most well-known names in the world of cannabis seed banks. With a reputation that spans decades and a huge variety of strains, it’s no surprise that many growers turn to them for their seeds. I’ve used them a few times now, and while my experiences have been generally positive, there are enough bumps along the way to make me think twice before going back for a repeat order. Let’s break down the good, the bad, and the not-so-pretty.

The Good – Great Variety and Reliable Shipping

When it comes to variety, Sensi Seeds is hard to beat. They offer a wide range of strains, from classic indicas and sativas to some of the most famous hybrids around. If you’re looking for genetics with a long track record, Sensi Seeds probably has something for you. I’ve tried a few of their well-known strains, like the legendary Jack Herer and Super Skunk, and I’ve been pleased with the genetics overall.

The website is easy to navigate, and ordering is a breeze. Shipping has been reliable every time I’ve ordered, and my seeds arrived within the expected timeframe. They’re discreet about packaging, which is always nice when you’re ordering online. No customs problems or issues with tracking, which is always a relief.

The Not-So-Good – Germination Struggles and Expensive Prices

While Sensi Seeds has a strong reputation, my experience with germination was a bit hit or miss. On my most recent order, I bought 10 seeds, and only 6 sprouted. Not terrible, but definitely not great, especially given the price of these seeds. For what you’re paying, I was expecting closer to a 100% germination rate. The plants that did grow were healthy, but the yield was less than stellar.

The price is also something to consider. Sensi Seeds is on the more expensive side, and while I understand that you’re paying for quality genetics, the results didn’t justify the premium for me. I’ve gotten better yields and germination rates from other seed banks for a fraction of the price. If you’re just starting out, you might want to weigh the cost against the potential for a better overall value elsewhere.

My Personal Experience – Decent, But Not Perfect

I’ve ordered from SensiSeeds.com a few times now, and while I can’t say I’ve had a bad experience, I can’t say I’ve been wowed either. The ordering process is always smooth, the seeds arrive in a timely fashion, and the packaging is discreet. I’ve grown a few of their strains, and the plants that did sprout were healthy. However, the yield was just okay, and the potency of the buds wasn’t as strong as I expected, considering the price.

Out of 10 seeds, only 6 germinated, which is fine, but when you’re paying top dollar, I expect better. The plants that grew were strong, but the final harvest didn’t feel worth the investment. For what I paid, I’ve definitely seen better results elsewhere.

The Verdict – High Quality, But Not Always Worth the Price

SensiSeeds.com offers a solid selection and reliable shipping, and if you’re after top-tier genetics, you’ll find what you’re looking for here. However, my personal experience with germination rates and yield has been less than stellar, especially given the price. If you’re willing to pay a premium for the “name brand” experience, Sensi Seeds might be the choice for you. But if you’re after consistency, better value, and higher yields for your money, you might want to look at some other seed banks first.

At The Dank Review, we’re all about honesty. Sensi Seeds is a well-established brand, but it’s not without its flaws. If you’re new to growing or just want a reliable seed bank with a lot of options, they’re not a bad choice—but don’t expect a flawless experience every time. 🌱
