Great Selection, But Mediocre Germination

January 4, 2025

RoyalQueenSeeds.com has an amazing selection of seeds, and I was really excited to try out some of their top strains like Amnesia Haze and OG Kush. The website is easy to navigate, and my order arrived quickly and discreetly.

However, I had a bit of trouble with germination. Out of 8 seeds, only 5 sprouted. The plants that did grow were healthy, but the yield was average, and I didn’t see the quality I was hoping for, especially at this price point.

I think their selection is great, but if you’re expecting flawless germination and higher yields, you might want to shop around a bit more.

Decent, But Customer Service Let Me Down

January 4, 2025

Royal Queen Seeds offers a fantastic range of strains, and my order arrived right on time with discreet packaging, so no issues there. The plants I grew were healthy and stable, but my germination rate was very poor —about 60%. No replacements offered.

Good Strains, But Overpriced for the Results

January 4, 2025

I’ve heard a lot about Royal Queen Seeds and decided to try them out. They have a killer range of strains and everything arrived discreetly and on time. The plants I grew were healthy and robust, but honestly, the THC wasn’t great. Smoke was weak. Bit of a waste of time.

Not My First Choice

I did 4 different strains from RQS and they all seemed the same, not much difference in them? Bit strange

A Royal Gamble!

January 4, 2025

Alright, so I tried RoyalQueenSeeds because, well, they’ve got the “royal” title and that’s hard to ignore, right? I mean, if it’s royal, it’s gotta be good, right? WRONG.

I ordered a couple of their top strains, hoping to grow some majestic, world-class buds, but what I got was more of a “peasants’ harvest.”

best seed bank

RoyalQueenSeeds.com is one of those names that pops up all over when you’re shopping for cannabis seeds. Known for their wide selection of feminized, autoflowering, and regular seeds, they’ve built a strong reputation in the cannabis community. After giving them a try, I can say it’s a mixed bag—there’s some royal treatment in there, but also a few bumps along the way. Let’s dive into the details to help you decide if they’re worth your money.

The Good – Solid Variety and Reliable Delivery

First off, Royal Queen Seeds does a lot right when it comes to selection. They offer a huge variety of strains, ranging from classic favorites like Amnesia Haze and OG Kush to their own unique hybrids. There’s something for every kind of grower—whether you’re after a potent indica, a productive sativa, or an easy-to-grow autoflower.

Their website is user-friendly and easy to navigate. If you know what you’re looking for, it’s smooth sailing. For first-timers, there are plenty of educational resources to help you along the way, which is a bonus.

One thing I really appreciated was the delivery. My order arrived on time, and everything was well-packaged, discreet, and intact. There were no issues with customs, and I got tracking information immediately after placing my order. No complaints there.

The Not-So-Good – Germination Issues and Price Tag

But here’s where things got a little dicey. The real test is always the germination rate, and unfortunately, Royal Queen Seeds didn’t live up to the royal hype in this department. Out of the 10 seeds I ordered, only 6 germinated. That’s a decent enough rate, but when you’re paying a premium price, I was expecting closer to 100%.

The plants that did grow were fine—healthy and solid, but the yield was less than I expected, especially considering the cost of the seeds. I followed all the proper growing techniques, but the harvest felt underwhelming. For what I paid, I was hoping for something a bit more impressive in terms of size and potency.

I also reached out to their customer service about the germination issue, and while they responded quickly, their solution was less than helpful. They offered some basic tips for germination, but nothing more substantial, like replacements or refunds for the non-germinated seeds. It felt a bit like they were brushing it off.

My Personal Experience – Good, But Not Great

When I placed my order with RoyalQueenSeeds.com, I was excited because I’d heard so much about their quality and customer service. The website was easy to navigate, and shipping was quick and discreet.

However, when it came time to start growing, things didn’t go as smoothly as I hoped. While the germination rate wasn’t terrible, it wasn’t great either. The plants that grew were solid, but the yields didn’t blow me away. After following all their instructions and carefully managing the grow, I was left with buds that were fine but not spectacular.

Considering the price I paid for these seeds, I expected something with a bit more flair.

The Verdict – Worth Trying, But Not Perfect

RoyalQueenSeeds.com offers a solid variety of seeds and a smooth shopping experience. Their shipping is reliable, and if you’re looking for a good selection, they’ve got plenty of options. But when it comes to actual results, they’re not as consistent as you might hope. While my plants grew fine, I wasn’t blown away by the yields, and the germination rate could have been better.

If you’re willing to pay a premium for the convenience and solid genetics, Royal Queen Seeds may be a good choice. But if you’re looking for guaranteed consistency and bigger yields for your money, there are other seed banks out there that might deliver better results.

At The Dank Review, we keep it honest—Royal Queen Seeds is solid, but there’s definitely room for improvement. Shop smart and manage expectations! 🌱
