Never again

January 4, 2025

Pips-SeedBank.co.uk offers a user-friendly website with easy navigation and a decent selection of strains. The ordering process is simple, and shipping is quick and discreet, which is always a plus. However, my experience with the seeds was underwhelming. Seeds looked crappy and pale. Some never sprouted.

Customer service was another area that didn’t impress me. It took longer than expected to get a response, and when I did hear back, it was a generic reply with tips I already knew. No offers of replacement seeds or additional support were given.

While Pips-SeedBank.co.uk isn’t terrible, it didn’t live up to my expectations. If you’re looking for consistently high-quality results, there are better options out there.

First Timer, So I’m Giving Them a Pass

January 4, 2025

I’ll admit, I didn’t get perfect results—only 3 out of 5 seeds germinated, but I’m not sure if that was on me or the seeds. The plants I did grow turned out okay, but the yield wasn’t great. Still, I learned a lot from the experience.

I wouldn’t necessarily rush back, but it’s not a total write-off if you’re just starting out and want a simple experience.

I’m on the fence about ordering again. They’ve got a solid service, but the quality just didn’t wow me.

Good, But Not Great

January 4, 2025

I ordered from Pips-SeedBank.co.uk, and the whole process was pretty smooth. The website’s easy to use, and shipping was quick. My seeds arrived safely and discreetly, so no complaints there.

However, I had a germination rate of about 50%—not terrible, but not great either. The plants that did grow were fine, but the yields weren’t as good as I hoped. If you’re just starting out, it might be okay, but if you’re after consistency, I’d look elsewhere.

Review of Pips-SeedBank.co.uk – A Rollercoaster Experience

Pips-SeedBank.co.uk isn’t exactly a household name in the world of cannabis seed banks, but it’s slowly building a reputation. After giving them a try, I can see why some folks might like them, but there were definitely a few bumps along the way. If you’re considering shopping with them, it’s worth weighing the pros and cons before making a decision.

The Good – Simple, User-Friendly Website and Fair Shipping

Let’s start with the positives. Pips-SeedBank.co.uk has a straightforward, easy-to-navigate website. The strain selection is decent enough, with plenty of classic options like Skunk #1 and OG Kush, but they also carry a few less common strains for those looking to experiment. I didn’t have any trouble browsing or finding what I wanted.

The checkout process was smooth, and shipping didn’t take as long as I feared. My order arrived on time, and the packaging was discrete, as expected. I’ll give them credit for this—it’s always nice when everything shows up as promised, especially with the whole “discreet” thing in mind. They also had a good range of payment options, which made the process easier.

The Not-So-Good – Germination Problems and Customer Service Struggles

Now for the part where things got a bit frustrating. I ordered 10 seeds, thinking I’d have a good shot at at least 8 or 9 sprouting, given that they claim to stock “high-quality” genetics. Unfortunately, only 5 of them actually germinated. That’s not a huge loss, but considering the price of these seeds, it felt a bit disappointing.

I reached out to customer service about the low germination rate, but I didn’t get much help. The response time was slow, and when I did hear back, it was a fairly generic message. They didn’t offer replacements or even a solid explanation—just some tips on improving germination (which, to be fair, I already knew).

The plants that did sprout were healthy enough, but the yield was underwhelming. After following all the grow guides and tending to them carefully, I still didn’t get the kind of harvest I’ve had from other seed banks. It was good, but not great.

My Personal Experience – Decent Seeds, But Not Consistent

When I ordered from Pips-SeedBank.co.uk, I was expecting a smooth process based on some positive reviews I’d read. The site was easy to navigate, the payment went through without a hitch, and the delivery was on time. So far, so good.

But when it came to the grow, things didn’t quite hit the mark. Out of 10 seeds, only half sprouted, and the plants I did get weren’t as sturdy as I’d hoped. The yields were fine, but I’ve definitely had better results from other seed banks that I’ve used in the past. Considering I paid a premium for these seeds, I felt a little let down by the overall outcome.

The Verdict – Solid Option for a First Try, But Not My Go-To

Pips-SeedBank.co.uk isn’t terrible, but it’s not my top pick either. The website works well, they offer a good variety of strains, and the shipping is reliable. However, the germination rates and customer service issues left a sour taste.

If you’re looking for a quick, no-frills seed purchase and are okay with a bit of risk when it comes to germination rates, Pips might be worth checking out. But if you’re after consistently high germination, reliable yields, and top-notch customer support, you might want to keep looking.

At The Dank Review, we aim to keep it real, and while Pips-SeedBank.co.uk has its merits, it’s not exactly a seed bank I’d wholeheartedly recommend. There are better options out there for growers looking for consistency. 🌱
