Great Website, But the Seeds Were a Letdown

January 4, 2025

Alright, let me just start by saying PacificSeedBank.com has one of the cleanest websites I’ve seen. Everything’s easy to find, strain info is clear, and ordering was a breeze. So far, so good. The seeds arrived on time, and the packaging was discreet—pretty standard stuff, but I appreciated the effort.

But when it came to the actual grow, things weren’t as great. I ordered 8 seeds, and only 4 sprouted. I did everything by the book, but only half of them made it. The plants themselves weren’t terrible, but the yield was very “meh.” I’ve had much better luck with other banks, especially at this price point.

Honestly, I might give them another shot just to see if I get better results next time, but I won’t be in any rush. If you’re expecting perfect seeds, this might not be your best bet.

Mixed Results, But Customer Service Was A Plus

January 4, 2025

I’ve had a decent experience with PacificSeedBank, but let’s just say it wasn’t perfect. The site is great for browsing—tons of strains and clear descriptions, which I loved. I ordered a mix of autoflowers and feminized seeds. The shipping was quick, and everything came discreetly, which was a nice touch.

But then… only 3 of my 10 seeds sprouted. That’s a pretty tough pill to swallow when you’re paying for what’s supposed to be premium genetics. The plants that did grow were fine, but nothing spectacular. The buds were okay, but definitely not as dense as I expected.

On the plus side, I did reach out to customer support about the germination issue, and they were really polite and offered to send replacements, although it took a couple of days to hear back.

Would I recommend them? Maybe. If you’re okay with a bit of a gamble, they’re worth a shot, but it’s not a sure thing.

The Packaging Was Top-Notch, But That’s About It

My order arrived quickly and in decent packaging, but the germination rate wasn’t great.

Good Website, Mediocre Seeds

best seed bank

PacificSeedBank.com has been making waves in the online cannabis seed market, offering a wide selection of strains with a slick website that promises a smooth buying experience. But as with any seed bank, the real question is: does it live up to the hype? After giving them a try, I have mixed feelings. Let’s dive into the pros and cons so you can make an informed decision.

The Good – Great Selection and Discreet Shipping

One thing Pacific Seed Bank does right is the variety. They offer a solid range of strains, including classics like OG Kush and Gorilla Glue, as well as some unique, hard-to-find options. If you’re looking for feminized seeds, autoflowers, or high-CBD varieties, they’ve got you covered.

Their website is clean, easy to navigate, and has useful strain information, so it’s easy to browse through their selection and find exactly what you need.

Shipping was another positive. My order arrived fairly quickly and, importantly, discreetly. No awkward encounters with the postman, which is always a plus when dealing with cannabis seeds. The packaging was sturdy and well-hidden, so you won’t have to worry about any prying eyes.

The Not-So-Good – Germination Issues and Slow Customer Support

Now, for the downside. Out of the 10 seeds I ordered, only 6 germinated. That’s not terrible, but it’s also not great. For a seed bank that advertises high-quality genetics, I was expecting better results. To be fair, this isn’t uncommon in the industry, but it’s still frustrating when you’re paying top dollar for seeds.

What really soured my experience was the customer service. When I reached out about the low germination rate, it took days to get a response. Once I did hear back, the reply felt generic and wasn’t very helpful. They offered to send replacement seeds, but the process felt like it dragged on for way too long.

My Personal Experience – An ‘Okay’ Grow

I ordered a mix of feminized seeds and autoflowers from Pacific Seed Bank. The ordering process was quick and simple, and as mentioned, shipping was pretty fast.

When it came to the grow, things started off strong. My seeds arrived healthy, and the plants that sprouted looked good. However, the yield was just average. The autoflowers grew faster than expected, but the feminized seeds didn’t pack the punch I was hoping for in terms of size or bud quality.

All in all, I got a decent harvest, but it wasn’t the impressive, top-shelf result I was hoping for after spending good money.

The Verdict – Potential, But Not My First Choice

PacificSeedBank.com has a lot of potential. Their seed variety and shipping are on point, and they offer solid products if you’re not expecting perfection. However, the germination rates and customer service issues I encountered make me hesitant to give them my full endorsement.

If you’re in a rush and they have a strain you can’t find elsewhere, they might be worth checking out. But if you’re looking for consistent, reliable results and top-tier customer support, there are definitely other seed banks that do it better.

At The Dank Review, we believe in being honest, and Pacific Seed Bank is a bit of a mixed bag. If you’re willing to gamble a little, they could be worth a shot, but I wouldn’t make them my go-to source for seeds. 🌱
