Reliable, But Not Exceptional

January 4, 2025

As someone who’s been in the growing game for years, I’ve tried most of the major seed banks, and LondonSeedCentre.co.uk falls somewhere in the middle of the pack.

Their website is well-organized, and they carry a solid selection of classic strains. If you’re looking for something exotic or super rare, though, you might be disappointed.

Shipping was quick, and the packaging was discreet—points for that. Out of 10 seeds, 7 germinated, which isn’t terrible, but it’s not the best either. The plants themselves were healthy, but the final yield felt a little underwhelming given the price tag.

Customer service? Yeah, not great. Slow to respond, and when they did, it felt like they were just trying to get me off their back.

If you’re in a pinch and need seeds quickly, London Seed Centre will do the job. But if you want premium seeds with excellent support, there are stronger options out there.

Decent Seeds, Customer Service Needs Work

January 4, 2025

I’ve ordered from LondonSeedCentre.co.uk twice now, and honestly, both experiences were a mixed bag. First order went fine—seeds arrived quickly, packaging was discreet, and most of them germinated without fuss. The plants grew well, and the yields were decent, nothing to complain about there.

The second order, though? Yikes. A couple of seeds didn’t sprout, and when I reached out to customer service, it felt like I was shouting into the void. Took them over a week to respond, and when they finally did, it was a super generic, unhelpful reply.

The strain selection is pretty solid if you’re into well-known classics, but if you’re hunting for something rare or boutique, you might be left wanting. Overall, they’re okay, but they don’t exactly wow me. If you order, cross your fingers and hope you don’t need to deal with support.

Not Bad, But Not Amazing Either

January 4, 2025

I wanted to love London Seed Centre—I really did. Their website looks professional, they’ve got a decent selection of strains, and they run a lot of promos. Plus, shipping was pretty quick, and the stealth packaging was solid.

But here’s the thing… out of the five seeds I planted, only three actually germinated. And those three plants? They grew, but the yield wasn’t anything to write home about. I’ve had better results from other seed banks at the same price point.

Customer service wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t great either. I had a minor issue with tracking my order, and the reply I got felt rushed and not very helpful.

Would I order again? Maybe if they had a killer sale or a strain I couldn’t find anywhere else. But if you’re looking for consistency and top-notch service, you might want to shop around a bit more.

Good Selection, But Room for Improvement

January 4, 2025

I’ve been growing for a few years now, and I gave LondonSeedCentre.co.uk a shot because they had a strain I couldn’t find elsewhere. Ordering was smooth, but the seeds arrived very slowly, took 7 days which is kinda mad and wasted my time.

Meh… It’s Fine, I Guess

January 4, 2025

London Seed Centre is like that one takeaway spot you keep ordering from even though it’s never amazing

What really rubbed me the wrong way was the customer service—or lack thereof. I had an issue with one seed that was clearly damaged, and it took ages to get a reply. Even then, the answer was vague and not particularly helpful.

Would I order again? Maybe… if they had a strain I was desperate for. But otherwise, I’ll probably look elsewhere next time.

best seed bank

LondonSeedCentre.co.uk is one of those seed banks that seems to pop up everywhere when you’re searching for cannabis seeds in the UK. They’ve been around for a while, and their reputation swings wildly depending on who you ask. Are they the reliable, go-to source they claim to be, or just another middle-of-the-road seed shop? Let’s break it down.

The Good Stuff – Convenience and Selection

First off, London Seed Centre’s website is pretty slick. It’s easy to navigate, and they’ve got a solid variety of strains from multiple breeders. If you’re after classics like Gorilla Glue, Northern Lights, or White Widow, you’ll find them here. Plus, they carry seeds from big-name breeders, so there’s an element of trust when it comes to the genetics.

Shipping is another decent point. My order arrived discreetly and fairly quickly—no weird delays or customs drama. They also ship internationally, which is a nice bonus if you’re outside the UK.

And let’s not forget their promotions. They’re always running some kind of deal—”free seeds with every order” or discounts on bulk buys. Who doesn’t love a freebie?

But let’s not sugarcoat it—things aren’t all sunshine and rainbows here.

The Not-So-Good – Sketchy Customer Service & Germination Gambles

Here’s where things start to wobble. Customer service at London Seed Centre is… well, let’s just say it’s hit or miss. I had an issue with one of my orders—a strain mix-up—and getting it sorted was like trying to get blood from a stone. Slow replies, vague responses, and at one point, I wondered if my emails were just being ignored.

Then there’s the germination issue. Out of ten seeds I ordered, seven popped. That’s not terrible, but it’s also not great, especially when you’re paying premium prices for what’s supposed to be top-shelf genetics.

Another small gripe: their strain descriptions can feel a bit recycled. Some of the details are copy-pasted from breeder sites, and I’d appreciate a bit more original insight on their product pages.

My Personal Experience – Almost, But Not Quite

I ordered a mix of feminized and autoflower seeds from London Seed Centre. The checkout process was smooth, and shipping was on time. So far, so good.

When it came to germination, as I mentioned earlier, seven out of ten seeds sprouted. The plants that made it were healthy enough, but the yields felt a little underwhelming. Maybe it was my setup, maybe it was the seeds—who knows?

The strain mix-up I mentioned earlier was the most frustrating part. I ordered a specific indica strain for a nighttime grow, but what I got was definitely a sativa-dominant plant. Rookie mistake or warehouse mix-up? Either way, it threw my grow plan out the window.

The Verdict – Worth a Try, But Manage Your Expectations

LondonSeedCentre.co.uk isn’t a terrible choice, but it’s also not the gold standard of seed banks. If you’re after classic strains, don’t mind rolling the dice on germination rates, and can stomach slow customer service, you’ll probably be fine ordering from them.

However, if top-notch service, reliable genetics, and peace of mind are at the top of your wishlist, there are stronger options out there.

At The Dank Review, we keep it honest—London Seed Centre has its strengths, but it also has its fair share of weaknesses. Shop smart, grow smarter. 🌱
